Trodat, Inc. was founded in Vienna, Austria, in 1912. In 1951, the company moved to Wels, Austria. Today Trodat is the global market leader for self-inking stamps, marking products and laser engraving machines. For many years, Trodat, a privately owned company, has been a trendsetter and a major player in the international marking industry.

The company has been ISO 9001 certified since 1995. 98% of our products are exported. Trodat supplies customers in 160 countries. 2006 sales were Euro 110.6 million. Our business strategy encompasses careful foresight to allow future maneuvering to not only secure the vitality of our company but to also secure growth in all business areas. Trodat is determined to continue its globalization efforts focusing on its business core competencies: development, production, marketing and distribution of stamps and marking devices. Trodat created the most successful stamp on the international market today - the Trodat Printy. Up until now, Trodat Printy has sold 150 million times! Trodat's success as a company is based on its dedicated and competent employees. In 2002 and 2004/2005, Trodat was honored with the award "Top 100 Work Places in the EU". As Number 1 our special strengths concerning stamps and marking products may be found in the principles of customer-orientation, flexibility, quality, design and fast response.

TRODAT MARKING DEVICES (XIAMEN) CO.LTD is the wholly owned Chinese subsidiary of TRODAT, Austria. TRODAT MARKING DEVICES (XIAMEN) CO.LTD has been founded in 2001. 2006 production passed the 2 million units mark. Apart from production for the world market TRODAT MARKING DEVICES (XIAMEN) CO.LTD distributes the full Trodat product range in China. A sales office has been set up in Shanghai. TRODAT MARKING DEVICES (XIAMEN) CO.LTD employs 140 persons. TRODAT MARKING DEVICES (XIAMEN) CO.LTD serves distribution partners and customers in all provinces of China. The main customer group are the traditional rubber stamp makers, who supply Chinese legal entities and individuals with official seals, company and name stamps. The stamp makers engrave the die plates that are mounted on the stamp handles delivered by Trodat. TRODAT MARKING DEVICES (XIAMEN) CO.LTD also supplies the distributors of stationery goods with stock stamps for office and private use.

TROTEC TRADING (XIAMEN) CO.LTD.

TROTEC TRADING (XIAMEN)CO.LTD. is the wholly owned Chinese subsidiary of TROTEC, Austria. TROTEC is part of the Trodat Group in Austria and provides laser engraving, marking and cutting systems to the rubber stamp industry and other industrial users. TROTEC TRADING(XIAMEN)CO.LTD. imports and distributes Trotec laser systems in China and provides technical service for the installed machines. Laser application labs in Xiamen and Shanghai show and demonstrate a wide range of Trotec laser systems.
